Maple Mountain extended their winning streak to 25 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from McKay Beattie. The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Skyridge Falcons for which the team can thank Beattie, who had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave him a new career-high.

Maple Mountain took Skyridge into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 25-21, 24-26, 15-7.

Maple Mountain pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Skyridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Maple Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cedar Valley on the 13th. As for Skyridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Riverton on the 13th.
