Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo had lost five straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 7-14 to make it six. They came up short against the Poca Dots, falling 3-0. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Poca, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1-4. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Poca found their leader in sophomore Christiana Childers, who had seven digs and two aces.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo will welcome James Monroe at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Poca, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wahama at 7:00 p.m.
