Football Recap: Plainwell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Plainwell had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it five. They were outmatched by the Otsego Bulldogs and fell 33-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 49-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Otsego, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.5 points over those games.

Lane Blanchard produced another solid performance rushing for 120 yards and two scores. Blake Mathieu also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing yards of the season.

As of now, neither Plainwell nor Otsego have any future games scheduled.
