Baseball Recap: Bishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Bishop Carroll's last matchup with Somerset could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Huskies came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-0. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bishop Carroll saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cory Franceschini, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Somerset, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
