Baseball Recap: Benton Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Benton and Natchitoches Central, and Benton kept the tradition alive. The Tigers came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of 6-3 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Chiefs last Thursday, they had to take a 9-6 loss.

Benton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 31-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games.
