Softball Recap: San Diego Comes Up Short

San Diego saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clark Chargers. The Cavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Diego saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diana Martinez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

San Diego now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Clark, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Coming up, San Diego will face off against El Camino at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. San Diego is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. Clark will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on March 26th. This will be Clark's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
