Baseball Game Preview: Andover Huskies vs. Blaine Bengals

The Andover Huskies will venture away from home to square off against the Blaine Bengals at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Andover comes in on seven and Blaine on six.

Andover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Centennial, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Andover was ranked 13th). The Huskies blew past the Cougars 10-4 on Thursday. Andover's win was all the more impressive since the Cougars were averaging only 3.72 runs allowed on the season.

Meanwhile, Blaine never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Duluth East with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bengals have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Blaine, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Andover got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Blaine by a conclusive 11-5 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bengals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
