Bowers came up big in Shade's 13-0 victory
While Tuesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Tori Bowers. Turkeyfoot Valley Area had no answer to Bowers on Tuesday as she went 4-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs.
Bowers and Shade will head out on the road to take on Meyersdale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bowers has dominated as far as hits are concerned (she's averaged 3.5 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering Meyersdale has only allowed 0.83 per game this season.
