Crescent had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West-Oak Warriors as they made off with a 12-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Crescent's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for West-Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Crescent is set to face off against their familiar foe Belton-Honea Path at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Tigers have won eight straight at home, while the Bears won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, West-Oak will square off against rival Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
