Annapolis comes up short despite Kennedy Orlando's dominant performance

Recap: Annapolis Cougars vs. Garden City Cougars
The Annapolis Cougars lost against the Garden City Cougars back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Annapolis took a 33-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Garden City. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Annapolis in their matchups with Garden City: they've now lost five in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Annapolis lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kennedy Orlando. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points.
Annapolis' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Garden City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Annapolis will face off against Robichaud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garden City, they will head out on the road to face off against Melvindale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
