Laurence Manning Academy (21-5, 7-1) has won six games in a row, SCISA AAA Region II's longest active win streak. In the past week, the Swampcats won another 2 games, includinga 10-9 victory over Lee Academy. Corey Brown led Laurence Manning Academy's offense with zero hits and zero RBIs this week.

Lee Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 137 to 130 thanks to a 0-2 record over the past week.

The Swampcats's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 20 hits and five walks to lead the league in both categories. Laurence Manning Academy's pitchers have been charged with only 104 hits and have struck out 185 batters. Brown is tops on the staff with 42 Ks.

The Swampcats's John Thomas Eppley finished his week with six hits, tops in the league. His 19 hits for the year are third in the league, and he boasts a .268 batting average.
