Volleyball Recap: Monona Grove Falls Despite Big Games from Emma Tormey and Cassidy Pohlman

Monona Grove lost against Sun Prairie West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Silver Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.

Monona Grove's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cassidy Pohlman, who had 18 digs, and Emma Tormey, who had seven digs and two aces. Pohlman has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Monona Grove now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Sun Prairie West, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Monona Grove has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against De Pere on the 30th. As for Sun Prairie West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Manitowoc Lincoln on the 30th.
