Volleyball Game Preview: West Field Longhorns vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks

The West Field Longhorns will take on the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeline took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Field, who comes in off a win.

While West Field's victory against Mountain Crest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Longhorns narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, Ridgeline suffered their biggest loss since March 8th on Tuesday. They came up short against Green Canyon, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Riverhawks haven't been shut out since back in March.

While Ridgeline ultimately came up short, they really made Green Canyon work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 28-26.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
