Football Recap: Edinburgh Lancers vs. North Daviess Cougars
Edinburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 37-0 defeat at the hands of the North Daviess Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 56-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
A big part of North Daviess' victory came down to the chemistry between Keaton Graber and his top target Wyatt Bishop. Graber rushed for 27 yards and a touchdown while Bishop rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Bishop a new career-high in rushing yards.
Edinburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Daviess, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
