Soccer Recap: Crete Takes a Loss

If Crete was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Lincoln Northwest last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals lost 7-0 to the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks on Tuesday. Crete haven't had much luck with Skutt Catholic recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Crete's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Skutt Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Crete didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seward on the 3rd. As for Skutt Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Bennington on the 3rd.
