Beaumont waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Great Oak Wolfpack. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Beaumont got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 15-10.

Beaumont's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Great Oak, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Beaumont will take on Cajon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cajon will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Beaumont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Great Oak, they are taking a road trip to take on Tahquitz at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
