Basketball Recap: South Newton Takes a Loss

South Newton and North White squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but South Newton had to settle for second. They lost 51-27 to the North White Vikings. The loss leaves the Rebels still looking for their first win on the season.

Avalin Bohlinger was South Newton's leading scorer, having posted nine points.

It was another big night for Autumn Reif, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals for North White. Reif has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Morgan Carter was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

South Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for North White, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.

South Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North White, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 38-27 loss against Pioneer on the 7th.
