Volleyball Game Preview: Eastern Greene Thunderbirds vs. Bedford North Lawrence Stars

Eastern Greene is 2-8 against Bedford North Lawrence since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Thunderbirds will head out on the road to face off against the Stars at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Eastern Greene came up short against Bloomfield and fell 3-1.

Eastern Greene was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bloomfield work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 19-25, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Bedford North Lawrence also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Eastern by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13.

Eastern Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Bedford North Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Eastern Greene couldn't quite get it done against Bedford North Lawrence in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
