Basketball Recap: Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the DASH United and fell 72-17. The Fighting Hornet were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

As for DASH, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Jason Judd produced another solid performance shooting 78% from the field en route to 19 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 48.3% field goal percentage. Colten Brisbee was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8. As for DASH, they and Fayetteville O will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
