After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roseville, River Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Yuba City Honkers with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-17, 33-31.

Emylee Hull went supernova, getting 20 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024.

River Valley's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Yuba City, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
