Philip Barbour came tearing into Thursday's matchup with ten straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the North Marion Huskies by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Philip Barbour was: they took both sets by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6.

Their offense was headlined by Izzy Knotts and Kayla Baker, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Finley Carpenter and her 13 assists. Leann Moss controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Marion, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Philip Barbour will host James Monroe on Saturday. As for North Marion, they will welcome Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
