Softball Recap: Langley Saxons vs. Washington-Liberty Generals

After only one run in their last match, Langley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Washington-Liberty on Tuesday. The Saxons put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 10-1 victory. Considering the Saxons have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Norah Jacques made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
