Basketball Game Preview: McKay Royal Scots vs. Central Panthers

McKay hasn't had much luck against Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The McKay Royal Scots will face off against the Central Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

McKay is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Lebanon, falling 63-23.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by South Albany and fell 76-37. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Redhawks are ranked 27th).

Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for McKay, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

McKay was dealt a bruising 64-33 loss at the hands of Central in their previous meeting back in January. Can McKay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
