Recap: Seeger Patriots vs. North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southmont, the Seeger Patriots were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They snuck past North Montgomery with a 32-26 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Seeger also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Rylea Wetz continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Shrader, who scored six points along with two steals.
Seeger pushed their record up to 14-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Montgomery, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Seeger will be playing at home against Rossville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Montgomery, they will head out on the road to take on Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lebanon and five for North Montgomery.
