Baseball Recap: Sky View Takes a Loss

Sky View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-5 to the Bear River Bears. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Gideon Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Lofthouse, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Sky View's record is now 5-11. As for Bear River, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

While Sky View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
