Preview: Perry Panthers vs. Green Bulldogs
Perry is 0-10 against the Bulldogs since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Perry Panthers will be playing at home against the Green Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. Perry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 25th).
Last Tuesday, Perry ended up a good deal behind the Bulldogs and lost 49-35.
Perry's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Wolf, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Kyson Walker who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Perry struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Green entered their tilt with the Blue Streaks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Green walked away with a 53-42 win over the Blue Streaks on Tuesday.
Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Green, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
