Basketball Game Preview: Crow Creek Chieftains vs. Mobridge-Pollock Tigers

The Crow Creek Chieftains will face off against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crow Creek will be strutting in after a win while Mobridge-Pollock will be coming in after a defeat.

Crow Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Platte/Geddes by a score of 55-43. 55 seems to be a good number for the Chieftains as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Mobridge-Pollock came up short against Winner on Friday and fell 54-43.

The win made it two in a row for Crow Creek and bumps their season record up to 8-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Mobridge-Pollock, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.

Crow Creek was taken down by Mobridge-Pollock 89-41 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Crow Creek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
