Volleyball Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spring Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union Spartans. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Spring Creek sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 17-25, 16-14.

Spring Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Union, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Creek will welcome Rosewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will take on North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
