Basketball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. South Bulldogs

Independence hasn't had much luck against South recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Independence 76ers will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Independence is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 34th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They fell 62-52 to Eastmoor Academy.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Briggs 66-19. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season.

Independence better focus on containing John Glover and Neko Tuff as the pair were huge in South's win. Glover posted 12 points, while Tuff had nine points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Griffin, who earned nine points.

South's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
