Volleyball Recap: South Garland Comes Up Short

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 40th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sachse Mustangs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-3, 25-4.

South Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Sachse, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Garland is set to take on their familiar foe Wylie at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sachse will square off against rival Lakeview Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
