Basketball Recap: Logos Sets Scoring Season-High Against Prairie

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Logos). They managed a 66-61 win over the Prairie Pirates on Saturday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Logos had a senior duo take command as Lucius Comis dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds and Seamus Wilson went 8 of 15 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight assists and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Comis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Boaz Whitling, who posted ten points.

Logos was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Logos now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos will venture away from home to challenge Freeman at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Prairie, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orofino at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
