Volleyball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mullins on Tuesday, Marion came back down to earth. The Swamp Foxes lost 3-0 to the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Swamp Foxes in their meetings with the Armada: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 25-7.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marion will face off against rival Manning at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Meanwhile, Atlantic Collegiate Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
