Soccer Game Preview: Upperman vs. Monterey

The Upperman Bees will challenge the Monterey Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Upperman will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Monterey better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Upperman's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Upperman really gets things going. The Bees blew past White County 4-1. The result was nothing new for Upperman, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Monterey was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of Smith County by a score of 2-1.

Upperman's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Monterey, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.
