Baseball Recap: Grafton Wins Going Away Against Bartlett

Grafton won the last time they faced Bartlett and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gators blew past the Indians 11-1. Considering the Gators have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Chris Kiesiner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Kiesiner wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was C.J. Chagnon, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Grafton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bartlett, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grafton will head out to square off against Nipmuc Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bartlett, they will venture away from home to face off against South at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
