Volleyball Recap: Serrano Takes a Loss

Serrano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arrowhead Christian Eagles. The Diamondbacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Arrowhead Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Serrano will take on King in a tournament on Saturday. As for Arrowhead Christian, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Cajon at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
