Naugatuck put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Wilby Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Greyhounds also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Naugatuck was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-14.

Maya Chatfield paced Naugatuck's offense, picking up 14 kills. Chatfield got some help from Carly Luchina and her 23 assists. Luchina was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Naugatuck's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Wilby, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Naugatuck wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Holy Cross on the 18th. As for Wilby, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Kennedy on the 18th.
