Notre Dame has gone a perfect 8-0 against Rim of the World recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Fighting Scots at 3:45 p.m. Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Notre Dame made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Arroyo Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Titans fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Mikey Rodriguez was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. Rodriguez was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, Teresa Avila made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Shea McCann, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Arroyo Valley, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Fighting Scots couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Notre Dame's record is now 8-10-1. As for Rim of the World, their record now sits at 0-10-1.

Notre Dame came out on top in a nail-biter against Rim of the World when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
