Basketball Recap: Oregon Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Oregon extended their postseason success on Monday against Hall. They managed a 34-28 win over the Hall Red Devils. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 57-38 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aniyah Sarver continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Eckardt, who posted nine points and six boards.

Oregon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Oregon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points over those games. Hall is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.

Oregon has already played their next game, a 47-25 defeat against Riverdale on the 20th. Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
