Football Recap: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Westwood Warriors
There's no place like home for Burbank, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over the Westwood Warriors on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 384th in California, while the Warriors are ranked 86th in Arizona).
Burbank's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deshawn Laporte, who threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Chase Miles, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
