Softball Recap: Casey County Rebels vs. Taylor County Cardinals
Taylor County typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Casey County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Cardinals. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in March, they had to take a 9-5 defeat.
Harmony Meece spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
