Baseball Recap: Berkeley Has No Trouble Against Hayward

While Berkeley put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Hayward. The Yellowjackets were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Farmers. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Farmers: they've now won six in a row.

Simon Scurlock tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Berkeley is 2-1 when Scurlock allows two or fewer hits, but 6-9 otherwise.

At the plate, Berkeley got a massive performance out of Seddrick Henderson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Those runs were Henderson's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chase Worthington, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
