Vistamar is 8-2 against Wildwood since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Vistamar Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildwood Wolves at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Vistamar came up short against Geffen Academy and fell 61-53. The Vikings have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Wildwood played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Geffen Academy 74-38. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Wildwood got some senior leadership from Jonah Spitz and Tiger Knowles. Spitz went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds, while Knowles posted five points and seven rebounds.

Vistamar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Wildwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Vistamar was able to grind out a solid victory over Wildwood in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-35. Does Vistamar have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wildwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
