Volleyball Game Preview: Paradise Bobcats vs. Pierce Bears + Official Tickets

Paradise is 0-9 against Pierce since September of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Bobcats will take on the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Paradise turned things around against Winters on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors.

Paradise had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 29-27, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Pierce narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Colusa 3-2. The Bears haven't had any issues with the RedHawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Pierce took Colusa into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 21-25, 15-12.

Paradise's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 9-17. As for Pierce, their record is now 22-8.

Paradise might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pierce when the teams last played back in September. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
