Recap: Mitchell Mustangs vs. Hernando Leopards
On Thursday, Mitchell earned a 49-41 victory over Hernando.
Ayana Kincade and Aislin Ruppe certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Kincade scored 17 points, while Ruppe scored 13 points.
Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Hernando, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mitchell will take on Wesley Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Dayla Christopher and Priya Jacob. As for Hernando, they will be playing at home against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Central is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
