Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for West Bladen

West Bladen put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the East Bladen Eagles a 5-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Not much got past Brady Durden, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep East Bladen off the board. Those six strikeouts gave Durden a new career-high.

At the plate, Garrett Dunham was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

West Bladen's record now sits at 4-0. As for East Bladen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, West Bladen and East Bladen will both be playing South Columbus the next time they take the field. East Bladen will head out to face South Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while West Bladen will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
