The Glenbard South Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Glenbard East Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Glenbard South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Glenbard South came up short against Wheaton-Warrenville South and fell 5-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glenbard South got a good showing from Lucas Wilder, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Wilder has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Glenbard South saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Fort, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Glenbard East lost 11-4 to Geneva on Saturday. The Rams have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 8-5. As for Glenbard South, their record now sits at 8-8.

Glenbard South might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Glenbard East when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
