Baseball Recap: Gibbs Takes a Loss

Gibbs lost against Clearwater back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gladiators came up short against the Tornadoes, falling 24-2. The Gladiators' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Clearwater, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Gibbs will face off against Booker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tornadoes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.41 runs per game on average), something the Gladiators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Clearwater, they will challenge Blake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
