Basketball Recap: Crossover Prep Takes a Loss

Crossover Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A, falling 42-21. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the N/A earlier this season, when they won 49-25.

Despite the loss, Crossover Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jah-Halla Sims posted 11 points.

Crossover Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-12 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing McLain Science & Tech the next time they take the court. Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy will head out to face McLain Science & Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Crossover Prep will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st.
