Baseball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost to St. Pius X back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets came up short against the Sartans, falling 21-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jose Tapia was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for St. Pius X, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Highland nor St. Pius X have any future games scheduled.
