Volleyball Recap: Council Grove Takes a Loss

Council Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wabaunsee Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Tuesday.

Council Grove was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wabaunsee work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14.

Council Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-27. As for Wabaunsee, they pushed their record up to 29-5 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Council Grove by a score of 2-0 later that day.
